What We Collect
CRYPTYX collects anonymous usage analytics to improve the platform. This includes:
- Page views — which pages are visited and how often
- Click interactions — which features and buttons are used (via anonymous identifiers, not personal data)
- Session duration — how long users spend on the platform
- Scroll depth — how far users scroll on each page
- Device category — desktop, tablet, or mobile (derived from viewport size, not fingerprinting)
- Referrer — the page that linked you to CRYPTYX (if available)
We do not collect email addresses, IP addresses, names, or any personally identifiable information through our analytics system.
Cookies
CRYPTYX uses a single cookie for authentication:

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies.
Session Tracking
For analytics purposes, we generate a random identifier stored in your browser's sessionStorage. This identifier:
- Is automatically deleted when you close the browser tab
- Cannot persist across sessions or tabs
- Is not a cookie and is not sent to third parties
- Has no correlation to your identity or account
Data Retention
- Raw analytics events are retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted
- Aggregated daily statistics (no individual session data) are kept indefinitely for trend analysis
- Authentication session data expires after 60 minutes of inactivity
AI and Language Model Processing
When you use the Research Lab, your queries are processed by third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) to generate analytical responses. Your queries are sent to these services alongside relevant market data context to produce answers.
- Your queries are not used to train these AI models
- We do not send any personally identifiable information to AI providers
- Only your query text and anonymised market data context are transmitted

We use the following services to operate the platform. Each processes data only as necessary to provide their specific function:

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Mixpanel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising service. All analytics data is stored in CRYPTYX's own infrastructure.
Do Not Track
CRYPTYX respects the Do Not Track (DNT) browser header. If your browser sends a DNT signal, we will not collect any analytics data from your session.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any data we hold about you
- Deletion — request that your data be deleted
- Opt out — enable Do Not Track in your browser to prevent analytics collection
Since our analytics system does not collect personally identifiable information, there is typically no data to associate with an individual. However, if you have concerns, please contact us.
